Hi,

i have a running virtualbox 3.04 and additionally wanted to install vmware server 1.09. As this was not successfull i deinstalled vmware again. Since that time i get the error message:
_______________________________________________________
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Re-setup the kernel module by executing

'/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup'

as root. Users of Ubuntu, Fedora or Mandriva should install the DKMS package first. This package keeps track of Linux kernel changes and recompiles the vboxdrv kernel module if necessary.

Für die virtuelle Maschine WindowsXP konnte keine neue Sitzung eröffnet werden.

The given hint (/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup) works, but i don't like to do this everytime again after booting the computer.
Has someone an idea?

Thanks,

Günther
