It's beyond my expertise, but is it possible that package was only available
in medibuntu? Still, I have medibuntu and the only H.264 related packages
would seem to be:
$ apt-cache search 264 | grep 264
h264enc - encode video or DVD in H.264/AVC/MPEG-4 Part 10
libx264-67 - x264 video coding library
libx264-dev - development files for libx264
x264 - video encoder for the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard
libx264-65 - x264 video coding library
