Ever wondered why ubuntu versions are always XXX.04 or XXX.10 ? It is 
because the version number relates to the date it is released. XXX is 
the year (i.e. 9 for 2009) .04 means the fourth month of the year 
(April) and .10 means the 10th month, October.

So ubuntu releases are always 6 months apart, and come out in April and 
October of each year.
