XV Image Viewer

I got a script off the net and made a few changes to make it work in
Ubuntu 8.04.

Downloads, patches, compiles, and installs xv.  Note I have a lot of
development libs and tools installed already and this may or may not
work on your box.

However, I would like to build a .deb and is there anyway to get better
looking fonts in this old shareware program?

After building, there are other binaries in the build tree - like
cleandir, bggen, and xvpictoppm  Should these be copied over
to /usr/local/bin too?
