I do that too, for desktops etc, but where do you get a "Virgin"
laptop or notebook.
www.system76.com sells em with ubuntu native but not many folks sell
laptops with any flavor linux avaliable. Dell advertises em
sporatically but support is apparently pretty poor and I waited over
3 months for one from them but it kept getting backordered so I
canceled and got one in about 10 days delivered from system 76 and it
was cheaper and had a newer version of ubuntu.
