Jeez. How hard is it to just hit reply, in what ever emailer you prefer 
and then *edit* the text to remove the bits you don't want and to move 
the cursor down *by* hand* before typing. As far as I am aware, this 
works in all email clients...

To try and excuse top posting with "my emailer doesn't let me" is pure 
nonsense. Just be truthful and say you either don't want to or cannot be 
bothered.
