Without knowing your budget, perhaps the ACER Aspire series.  I have the
7520.  dual core athalon, 3 Gb RAM, two drive bays one with 250Gb drive,
17" monitor and full keyboard w/ num pad. <$800 stock.  I have used
Acers with minimal trouble.  I run 9.04 w/ 4Gb and 1Tb hdd and swapped
the atheros wireless for a broadcom.
