I'm aware of your hardware, I still don't understand how that
constitutes a test in any variation of the word, unless you were
reseating it.  And even then, typically those connect fairly easily,
even if a little tight.

But, this has always been one of my pet peeves.  Anytime I've replaced
hardware like that, if it does feel like it's gonna need a lot of force,
I always remove the MB and put it on a flat, static-free surface to
install the device. I've never lst a MB that way.  It's more time
consuming, but less expensive.
