boot takes very long - about 25 secs

At home yesterday my mail reader was reporting the size of the mail as 
468k (from memory) - Here at work it is reported as 398k ...

Interesting indeed, but doesn't change anything. All these sizes are too 
large for attachments to this list, IMHO.
