He's not "envisioning a future" - he's describing what currently goes into 
the average car.  Nevertheless, the point was that 25 seconds is not only 
reasonable for the current state of ubuntu's boot process, but it's unlikely 
that the OP will be able to cut that down by much, until next year when 
Scott Remnant promises 10 second boot times (to a working desktop - not just 
to a login prompt).
