Ondemand cpufreq governor

Hi list,

beginning about 2 or 3 weeks ago I noticed some flaky behavior
of the ondemand cpufreq governor that misses to increase cpu frequency
when it should.  Apart from the cpu frequency applet you may also notice
hickups when listening to music or unresponsive GUIs.

Does anybody know what's wrong and if not, did anybody else observe
this behavior and can tell more precisely than me when it first
occured?
