Well, the cracked screen, about 6 months. Isn't covered since it's
abuse. The audio plug, approximately 13 months before it broke the
first time (a friend of mine fixed it several times). The audio plug
was a poor design, since it basically flexes, and the only thing
holding it in place is the ground solder connection, which breaks
continuously.
The on/off switch, about 6 months. I bought it directly from cowon,
and couldn't find the receipt, so they couldn't/wouldn't help me. I
realize it's my own stupidity, so I don't complain about it.
I have spent less on both Sansa models than any of the Cowon, and I
won't feel as bad when/if I break them :). I have had them for about
6 months. I admit I use mine while mowing/plowing/running/at work, so
they do get a work out.
