Issue with networking/link aggregation

Hi

I followed the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LinkAggregation to
set up link aggregation and despite getting it up and running I was not able
to get DNS resolution to work so had no external access.
Because of this I backed out all of the changes made, manually configured
eth0 (in /etc/networks/interfaces) and reinstalled network-manager.
I then removed the manual configuration of eth0 and am now having issues
that when I use network-manager to edit the configurations to manual IP on
eth0, eth1 not used that the configuration does not appear to stay in place
and eth0 has become eth0_rename.
Is there any way that I can remove the ethernet adapter configuration and
install them again to get around this issue?

Cheers

Jamie
