Jaunty evolution update is due when?

I have current Jaunty and evol 2.26.1. I have to give psw everytime evol
starts and then I get request for psw for Keyring. If I put psw in, then
Keyring comes up and I found that I don't know or even that I am aware
of Keyring. But by checking Deny that the "fetching email" in lower left
comes on and then an error msg. But it will then download the mail.

What is happening and would an update of evol solve these problems?

I don't know how to make a copy of the msg and include in this msg.
