flash games on facebook

A friend of mine asked me to join farm town on facebook. Why? Who knows. Anyway, I tried to play but it doesn't work. The "loading" page just flashes and does nothing. 

Why do we have so much trouble with flash on Linux? Is there a fix for this?

Don't tell me I need to run windows... Pleas!
