No - don't.  There's no reason to use an old version.  Go Xubuntu or a
lighter window enviroment, but Hardy isn't really any harder to run
than Dapper, and I've got lots of boxes to prove it.  Heck run DSL or
Puppy if you really need to. Running an old version just gets you old
bugs and problems that are already fixed.  Linux ain't Windows.
