No, but I put it to you that you are being wilfully antisocial.

Some folk come here in ignorance and are prepared to be educated. That's 
great. It's a great feeling to assist someone in solving their problem 
and learn some social behaviour to boot.

Some men you just can't reach.

The expected behaviour on a mailing list is trivial to follow, so why not 
just follow it? And if you don't know the expected behaviour, then just 
follow the behaviour of others.
