Yep. Call me old-timer.
Then again, -Y isn't implemented in all versions of SSH, whereas -X
is... so I'm being conservative.
On some platforms, -X triggers X11 forwarding, which is, in turn,
implemented as "Trusted, by default" (see the man page for OpenSolaris'
ssh).
I understand that the original poster may have implied that both his
systems are Ubuntu, but I live in a heterogenous world where I connect
to Ubuntu servers from an OpenSolaris laptop, so for me, ssh -Y isn't a
reality, ssh -X is.
