temp sensors on 600 m

I tried to install temperature senor monitors on my aging Dell 600m.   The
result was:

Sorry, no sensors were detected.
Either your sensors are not supported, or they are connected to an
I2C or SMBus adapter that is not supported. See
http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/FAQ/Chapter3 for further information.
If you find out what chips are on your board, check
http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/Devices for driver status.

I checked http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/Devices and did not see anything I
could understand.  I also checked
http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/FAQ/Chapter3 with similar results.

Maybe someone already knows all about this and will know what if anything
can be done.
