change from apt-get to aptitude

No, it isn't.  As I always say, this is Linux - there's always more than one
way to do _anything_.  If you read the whole thread you'll see where I gave
more specific instructions (except that I had read it backwards and was
telling how to mark things as auto- rather than manual).
