Why/why not? Is this your list? did you create it? no, you did not,
therefor you do not get to decide what is OK and what is not, nor do you
get to enforce anything a moderator decides should be in a CoC, thats why
moderators are called moderators, you, are no more important on this list,
then anyone else, even a first day newbie, IOW, you have no official right
to even ask someone to do, or not to do anything.

Because I'm sick to death of these self appointed net-cops trying to force
their personal beliefs down others throats, on 2 lists (moderate volume) I
moderate, I as do other mods remove without warning any self appointed
net-cop, have done so for years, and lists are a FAR better and friendly
place for it, and in fact the only moderating any of us have had to do in
the past 4 years, are to moderate the net-cops. I've also seen the same
actions taken by mods of other lists that I'm just a normal user on, that
are moderate to far higher volume traffic.
lists that have moderators that do not moderate and let the rat-race carry
on the way like goes on here with self-importance tags some users here have
placed upon themselves to the point where they think in there delusional
little world, they can tell others what to do, basically, is out of
control, self policing does not work, because each 'cop' uses their own
personal beliefs and morals and interpretation on any rules, and they
only ever selectively try police any official rules, never applied with an
even hand.
