Kubuntu 9.04 will be released when you see it available for download
on this page:
http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu/download

At that time, if you see any messages referring to anything else as
the released version, including alphas, betas, and RC, let me know as
it is an error. Note that Kubuntu 8.04 will likely still be available
as it is the last official KDE 3 release.
