looking for netatalk install procedure

That said, I just installed on my hardy system and seemed to go just fine:

ggmain3 at ggmain3:~$ sudo apt-get install netatalk

So, perhaps purge & reinstall as Brian suggested, only using:

sudo apt-get purge netatalk
sudo apt-get install netatalk
