That is a real good point. And if he replaces the final zeros with a 2 then
the drive will be mounted at boot time which seemed to be what he wanted.
Then he can play with vol_id and replace the /dev/sdb1 type entries with
UUID=<stuff> type entries. Then if the drive cabling gets physically
rerouted he's still going to have no problems.
