Hopefully I didn't come across as saying HP is the only option. I know there
are others out there that are Linux friendly brands and work well for others.
HP is one of a number of brands that appear to be Linux friendly and out of
experience I tend to recomend them whilst I'd expect others to recomend what
works for them. I had an Epson printer a while back and I recall it working
but not to my satisfaction. That was a while back so I don't recall what the
issue(s) were/was on my part
HP is certainly "a safe bet" but not the only one
