I get this myself...not sure what is causing it, but I think it is in
response to a program ending while not in X. Only time I have to worry is
when I am rebooting/shutting down and it keeps beeping and stops the system
and I have to hard boot. But a single beep shouldn't be a problem so long
as the system boots back up without any warnings.
