8.10 freezing a lot more recently.

I was curious if anyone else was experiencing issues with 8.10 Intrepid 
freezing more often than usual?  It seems for me atleast, that the 
system has been running a little slower lately and been freezing and 
requiring a hard reset a lot more often than usual.  Does anyone know 
what could be causing this all of the sudden?  Thanks.
