Allen, I have tried to explain to you what happened in the other threads.

However, if you are going to have to reply to a "digest" for whatever
reason, please trim the parts that don't apply from the digest, Amedee's
point was that this post with all the unrelated "digest" material was too
long to read and, as such, might be skipped by people trying to help. 

I, of course, have the advantage of having seen your original question,
but I didn't find it impossible to figure out, nor did Poster Roy Smith
who gave you the answer that helped. We'll try our best to figure out your
questions until you understand posting in threads.

Please though, read the rest of what I wrote about threads and why they
help organize things here in the list.
