Failure to index incoming NEW messages in Thunderbird on Linux Ubuntu 7.1]

Hello All,

action taken;

1. Installed Enigmail
2. Installed Thunderbird-quickfile
3. Compacted the TB folders

The problem is now GONE!   :-)

It could have been caused by a new update ?
