Nothing special on my side; no sudo needed on 4 hardy and 2 intrepid
systems (ubuntu Gnome) on each system I tried. Made sure that sudo had
timed out:
userid at userid:~$ blkid
/dev/sda1: UUID="93616b98-b887-4699-8590-62202ebae917" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/sda5: UUID="f5596592-63a9-48e0-937d-fa85225bd081" TYPE="swap"
userid at userid:~$ sudo blkid
[sudo] password for userid:
/dev/sda1: UUID="93616b98-b887-4699-8590-62202ebae917" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/sda5: TYPE="swap" UUID="f5596592-63a9-48e0-937d-fa85225bd081"
userid at userid:~$
