You're obviously not authorized to sudo.

Again, parted is a dependency of every Ubuntu install.  Re-run the
command on Ubuntu or install parted on Debian on your own initiative
(not that it's so hard)

> bash: parted/dev/sda: No such file or directory

And there you just missed a space.
