Any way to configure certain applications to ALWAYS appear in the visible workspace, without having to set the flag each time?

There are certain applications that I configure to be "Always on Visible 
Workspace" when I start them, and then I leave them running essentially 
forever (until I restart).  Is there any way to make those specific 
applications have that flag on automatically, without me having to set it?
