There was a time when blacklisting ath5k came highly recommended.  Since 
I don't have a system with atheros wireless anymore, I'm not on top of 
the situation with that driver.  I was grabbing at straws with trying to 
help Karl resolve his problem since he seems to have a new laptop 
throwing new issues his way...
