As usual your taking this out of context. While you have been having
fun with all this stuff I got an email from the kernel team and have
been getting them some files from my Jaunty which they think, and so do
I, can not do wireless because the kernel is bad.
Now wicd may work fine when there is a good kernel. But since we
don't yet have a good kernel BOTH network-manager and wicd appear broke :-)
