Troubles with firefox Search_installLocation had no file

Hi,

I did the update this morning on Ubuntu 8.10 and it seems it caused Firefox
to lose the search engine.
Is there a way to fix the error? or do I have to uninstall and purge?

The message from firefox is:

ASSERT:***Search_InstallLocation:Engine has no file!
