Possible Jaunty Bug

I re-loaded Jaunty Beta this morning and when complete network
manager almost automatically found my wifi and worked just fine. I got
all my usual stuff with apt-get and then got 240 updates.

After the updates I rebooted and when up the network manager was
broken. It could not even see the strong signal from my router in this
room. I did several things to no avail.

I then in a way to test things I installed wicd and it installed
just fine using the wired internet. I rebooted and worked with wicd
which I know little about. I was unable to get it to work. It can see no
wireless signals. It is as if the wifi hardware is turned off again. But
it's not.

It appears there is something in the 240 updates that ruins the
network manager and wicd performance.

I think this is a bug.
