xfix: How is it done?

I don't know why a detailed explanation is needed. It just runs dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg from script I believe I read such on this list. How to do it? Just boot up in recovery mode and select xfix something or the other which is the 4th entry on the page.  HTH,
