    Same here with my Hardy Heron Xubuntu. NTFS read/write worked fine 
out of the box and caused no problems whatsoever right up until I 
removed Vista from my laptop. Even when it WAS in Beta stage I had no 
problems with it despite warnings that it may burst into flame (or do 
something like that). It seems rock solid now.
