Power Management problem when battery charge level is critically low

I set mine to power down with only ten minutes of time remaining on the 
battery.  Is this a poor move?

Hey, I am not at all sure you ought to be revealing what is happening beneath 
the covers!   I'm sure I am far more innocent than that!!   ;)
