I can't turn off my pc

Hello, I installed ubuntu about 3 weeks ago and all have been ok, but one
day the pc did not turn off. When I try to do it, no matter the way, the
screen turn black and the computer remain on. I have to turn it off manualy,
by pressing the button. This happens also if a try to restart the pc. I hope
that you can help me. Thanks.
