Concur with that last observation. The OP might want to upgrade in two
stages: go to 1.6.6 and make sure that everything is functioning
properly there. If that's the case then move on to 2.0.2 with fingers
crossed.
Bizarre happenings here...
I did a complete deinstall of VBox, including physically deleting the
guest addons ISO, followed by a redownload of the 2.0.2 release, a
fresh install, then finishing with a physical reboot of the computer
seems to have fixed everything. I am now on 2.0.2 on my AMD64 box.
It's definitely faster than the 1.6.6 release. So I can give it 2
thumbs up and will report that fact on the thread I started at the
Virtualbox and Newsbin forums.
