Sorry to say that that problem sounds like it is over my head. I would
highly recommend that you repost this data with a new subject that
tells what the problem is that needs to be solved and see what
happens. I had a bunch of problems with my DVD being renamed in the
/dev to the wrong thing do to a bad
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-cd.rules file that got made on my
upgrade to Hardy. We just renamed it and rebooted. Problem fixed
itself as the reboot remakes the file in the correct way. You could
try that but I bet that is not your problem.
