Vbox 2.0.0 upgrade on Ubuntu Hardy AMD64 blowing up

It doesn't work reliably for me. With ACPI enabled it hangs pretty
early during the boot, and with ACPI disabled it usually hangs later,
non-deterministically: once it got as far as choosing the keyboard
layout during installation. This is Intel's x86_64.

A 32-bit guest (installed earlier with VirtualBox 1.6) works fine.
Well, not worse in 1.6 at least: Intrepid guest requires hardware
virtualization turned on to boot, and has incomplete guest additions.
