samspade.org says the 100.100 range is reserved by iana
http://www.iana.org/assignments/ipv4-address-space/ says 100/8 is
'unallocated' which means they haven't given it out yet I think.
Maybe those documents are out of date.

yes, that's the kind of static route I meant.

Well, the subnet mask would have to be something more like 255.255.0.0
to include those two numbers. But, you said that the other subnet
mask was correct for Windows.
I get the feeling we're missing something here. Does your ISP have a
web page where they detail how to set up Windows?
