Installation overwrote windows installation too easily

I disagree. I installed Hardy overwriting Windows, I knew what I was
doing (this was a laptop with no option to buy it without Windows
preinstalled), and I remembered that the Ubuntu installer could have
warned more explicitly that I am erasing potentially valuable data.
The warning should be issued just before making the choice, it should
be visible before one checks the option to use the whole drive, and
not as a confirmation later, before the actual formatting.
