Howto configure plasma panel?

Hi, Charlie.

Try this:

Right click the panel in an empty space. Next the the
clock is good.
Select Panel Settings and move your mouse cursor onto
the Panel Settings bar.
Then right click the bar and hold the right click and
you should see a four arrowed cross.  Just move the
cross to the left screen border and your done except
for closing the Panel settings bar.
Hope that does it for you.  I did for me just now.
Good to see someone else using KDE 4.1.  It is very
buggy though.
