I came to the conclusion my further participation in this thread is
not productive.

I've asked for a list of FF3 files that contained browsing history data,
so that these could be reliably shreded after the session, by methods
other than FF3, as the users I'm dealing with have no confidence in such
facilities provided by FF3 developers. I'll monitor the thread for help and
answers, but will make no further posts.
