On my box, if I start a second X session (switch user) that one will 
start on VT 9. Means I can switch from one user to the other with Ctrl-
Alt-F9 and Ctrl-Alt-F7. If your X session runs on VT 9 it is likely you 
have an other X session running on VT 7. (VT 8 gives some booting 
messages)
