help needed for Ubuntu 8.04 on HP 6720s notebook

nspluginwrapper (yes it is a wrapper) is stable enouth. Java is already FOSS (provided by Java Foundation) and in Main in Intrepid.
As for Adobe they still insist on doing proprietary formats, and wont compile for 64bits, AFAIK, and the wrapper handles that.
