Not to worry... Google just added their own similar 'awesomebar' - to
disable that thing use:
http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 instead of http://www.google.com/

And for Fx3's Awesomebar:
1. Type about:configinto the location bar
2. In 'Filter' enter: maxrich
3. Double-click the value and set the value to 0 (zero)
4. Restart Fx3
